Infrared Welding Machine
This infrared welding machine uses infrared emitters to non-contact heat the welding area of plastic parts, quickly forming a uniform molten layer before pressing and cooling to create strong, airtight joints.
- High welding strength with water tightness and air tightness.
- Less welding seam, welding slag, and welding flash;
- Fast heating speed;
- Can effectively replace traditional screws, snaps, glue, and other bonding process;
- Can weld a variety of plastic parts and materials, especially suitable for nylon and other soft materials with high-melting material.
The welding process is clean and environmentally friendly, with no particle contamination or flash, delivering an attractive appearance and stable quality. Non-contact heating eliminates heater head wear, reducing maintenance costs and extending service life.
It can weld plastic parts of various shapes and sizes, especially low-hardness and low-rigidity materials, and can also join different plastics such as TPE and PP+GF30.
Ceramic Mold + Infrared Heating Wire
- Using the heat from infrared heating wires to perform non-contact radiation welding on the ribs.
- Contactless welding produces no debris during the process, ensuring a high level of cleanliness.
How Infrared Plastic Welding Works
Infrared welding uses non-contact radiant energy to heat the joining surfaces of thermoplastic parts. After the programmed heating stage, the emitter assembly withdraws and the fixtures bring the softened surfaces together under controlled movement and pressure while the joint cools.
When to Evaluate Infrared Welding
The process can be considered for parts that need clean, non-contact heating, complex joint paths or reduced risk of material transfer to a hot tool. Material compatibility, absorptivity, joint geometry, heating uniformity, fixture access and required cycle time must be validated with production resin and representative parts.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does infrared welding touch the molten surfaces?
The heating stage is non-contact. The parts are subsequently pressed together to form and cool the joint.
