Jfortune: Plastic Welding and Automotive Interior Lamination Equipment Manufacturer and Project Solution Provider

Thermal Radiation Welding Machine

Thermal radiation welding uses controlled radiant heat to soften the joining surfaces without direct contact. It is a practical option for automotive lighting housings and other thermoplastic assemblies where clean heating, repeatable positioning and controlled pressure are important.

Cleaner Automotive Lamp Welding with TR Technology

As customers demand better overflow control and easier production maintenance, TR welding is becoming an ideal solution.

The lens is melted by high-temperature thermal radiation, while the housing is heated through low-temperature contact—helping deliver cleaner welds, better process control, and more stable production.

When to Choose Thermal Radiation Welding

This process can be evaluated when the project requires non-contact heating but does not need the concentrated energy input of a laser plastic welding machine. For components that benefit from broader infrared heating and flexible joint geometry, compare it with our infrared welding machine.

During project review, Jfortune evaluates the plastic material, joint design, part dimensions, heating uniformity, fixture access, cycle requirements and cooling method. Trial parts and weld acceptance criteria should be confirmed before the production fixture and automation sequence are finalized.
