Jfortune Servo Motor Hot Plate Welding Equipment is very stable and mature now, only needs first time installation and commissioning.
The servo motor hot plate welding equipment heats the surface of independent component to be connected in the expected welding area to plasticize it. Subsequently, the two independent components are extruded and welded between the upper die and the lower lifting table. The equipment respectively includes the upper die and the lower die fitted with corresponding fixed components.
Table of Contents
ToggleOperator Station
The area is marked as the operator station, namely the embedded and extraction station. The operator executes the stipulated manual production procedure and embeds single component for welding.
Embedded and Extraction Station
Operator Manual Movement:
*Embed single part.
*Press start button.
*Observe the hot plate welding equipment controller from the right side of the operating floor.
*Take out the welded complete part after the welding is finished.
Danger Zone
The areas the arrow points to indicate danger zone, namely the equipment operating area. During operation, the equipment will execute the following procedure:
Traveling in the hot plate welding equipment

Equipment Working Area:
* The traveling and feeding movement of component clamp and tool transmission unit.
*Hot plate heater
*The traveling and feeding movement of compressing device.
Safety and Protective Device
The safety device is part of the normal hot plate welding equipment status. They serve to protect life, health and safety. If the safety device fails, the action is careless and faulty.
Safety Circuit
The hot plate welding equipment is fitted with the following safety circuits:
- Access door safety switch:
- The operator station emergency stop buttons are distributed under the operating floor and on the operation panel of human-machine interface (side of electrical cabinet).
3.2 Operator Station Safety Grating.

Transmission Unit (Actuating Device of hot plate welding equipment)
Risk of damaging/extruding the transmission unit
Risk of squeezing between the upper and lower dies
Risk of die feeding movement
Horizontal Transmission Unit
Horizontal movement: through reducer, the servo motor transmits the power to the gear rack mechanism to drive the hot die sliding table to move horizontally. The gear rack transmission is characterized by high load bearing and high transmission precision.

Manual Communication Valve of hot plate welding equipment (Compressed Air Supply)
Danger of eye damage caused by any bouncing hose!
The pressure storage device has potential danger (sometimes it also occurs during the emergency stop).
* Pneumatic hot plate welding equipment must be changed to no pressure condition prior to operation (exhaust is completed automatically when the air supply valve is closed).
→Turn on or off the compressed air supply of hot plate welding equipment through the manual communication valve.
The compressed air supplied to the start-up control equipment assembly is treated by the maintenance unit; and the accumulated condensed water will deposit at an operating pressure (nominal pressure) of about 6bar being adjusted in the supply line.
Turn on Equipment
Steps to turn hot plate welding equipment on:
- Turn all switches to ON according to the figure to get the power supply through.
- Open the manual communication valve (1) of the maintenance unit.
Unlock all “emergency stop buttons” (the emergency stop button may only be unlocked after troubleshooting)
- Press the reset button and the hot plate welding equipment runs to the initial position.
- Check the parameters on the touchscreen and whether the equipment alarm is triggered.
- Set operation mode to “auto”.
- The signal lamp turns “green”.
The hot plate welding machine is now ready!
Turn off Equipment
Steps to Turn hot plate welding equipment Off:
- Please confirm the machine is in its initial position and dry-running before it is turned off.
- Please collect the product parts and eventually remove the residue or waste on the product.
- Turn off the compressed air supply of the maintenance unit.
- Please switch all power switches to off position to guarantee the power supply to the machine is cut off.
